We run an E2E course in conjunction with NACRO on a Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
Have you left school? Do you want to move on, but don’t know how? Entry to Employment (E2E) could be for you!
Are you aged between 16 and 18? And do you want a career but are not quite ready?
E2E will:
Develop the skills, understanding and qualities you need - Give you key skills training in literacy, numeracy and IT
- Help you get qualifications
- Give you work experience
- Help you find a job
- Give you allowances for training and cover your childcare and travel costs
Entry to Employment (E2E) is exactly that – a course to help you find the career you want and give you the skills you need to achieve it.
E2E at Woking YMCA will respect you as an individual and give you the support you need to make decisions about your future and the skills you need to get there.

What is it?
It’s simple…. E2E helps you develop your skills, gain work-based qualifications and get a job that YOU want!
Why should you do it?
it’s individually designed to suit you - it gives you options and choices - it’s a practical course - you can have work-tasters in areas you’re interested in.
How long will it take?
That’s up to you – most programmes are about 22 weeks long
What will I be doing?
- learning about career choices
- identifying your strengths
- help with literacy and numeracy
- sampling different jobs
- helping you to work with others through fun activities
- opportunity to gain a qualification
- getting a job with training
- Art, Music, Recording, Photography, Dance etc…
...and you could be paid to learn! EMA (Education Maintenance Allowance) is a weekly payment of £10, £20 or £30 (depending on your household income)
