Woking YMCA is delighted to announce the launch of our exciting dance classes on Saturdays for children and young people, and on Mondays for Adults.

Boppin is all about having fun, enjoying dance and is suitable for all abilities. Here is our class timetable:

Baby Boppin      10-11am       3-5 years

Mini Boppin         11-12pm       6-8 years

Teenie Boppin     12-1pm         9-12 years

Bop                        9-10am       13 years +

Adult Boppin         Mondays 8-9pm

Cathie Cardy is the class teacher. Cathie comes to us with a wealth of experience in musical theatre. As a West End dancer she has appeared in shows such as "Chicago", "Fame", "Rat Pack" and "Fosse"

Boppin was founded by Chloe Bell in 2005 and now has two other schools in Hampshire.

MAD Stage School

Tuesdays 6.00-8.00 MAD Stage School takes over the Ypod dance studio. The sessions are for 7-15 yr olds of any abilityand seriously fun! The dancers learn across the whole range of Dance styles from street and miodern to tap and ballet. Its a great group and has been overwhelmingly popular since it burts through the doors in 2008!

Street Dance

Woking YMCA's Ypod Street Dance class for ages 12-18 at the Ypod every Tuesday from 5-6pm. It is free per session. There is no need to book a place as it runs 1st come 1st served. It is taught by exprienced dancers and Ypod staff members Hannah and Cheryl. It is a fun and friendly class with no pressure involved! It's suitable for all ages including beginners. Classes start again on September 9th. See dance page for more details! :)
